Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques
The Dance Conservatory of the Institut del Teatre has been offering programmes of study leading to the Master's Degree in Dance since 2001-2002. This degree is equivalent, to all effects, to a university degree. This university-level training is divided into two specialisations, Dance Pedagogy and Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques, which differentiate the professions in the educational sector from those of the specific profession of dance performance.
The specialisation in Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques is designed to train future choreographers and creative performers, as well as researchers specialising in the techniques of movement and its artistic expression from the perspective of the study of dance as an artistic and dramatic phenomenon. In order to improve the excellence of this programme of study, we are highly interested in finding professionals in different fields to give conferences, seminars, etc. so that they may offer our students their knowledge and experience.
