Direction and dramaturgy
The Specialisation in Directing and Dramaturgy provides students with the theoretical knowledge and technical skills necessary for becoming specialists in directing and dramatic composition or dramaturgy.
This programme includes the study of dramatic literature, drama theory, scenic language, dramaturgy, dramatic composition, staging and so on, as well as the study of the various disciplines comprising the art of theatre (acting, set design, costume design, etc.)
Studies are complemented by external traineeships and workshops in each of the two branches (Directing and Dramaturgy).
Classes are held at the Institut del Teatre in
Barcelona.
