Dance Pedagogy
The Dance Conservatory of the Institut del Teatre has been offering programmes of study leading to the Master's Degree in Dance since 2001-2002. This degree is equivalent, to all effects, to a university degree. This university-level training is divided into two specialisations, Dance Pedagogy and Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques, which differentiate the professions in the educational sector from those of the specific profession of dance performance.
The
specialisation in Dance Pedagogy is designed to
train future dance teachers and professors, qualifying them to
teach both professional and amateur dance at any establishment.
